Step 1: Access the Zerodha Kite Application: The Zerodha Kite application is where you’ll initiate the password recovery process.

Step 2: Navigate to the Login Section: Once in the Kite app, head to the login section.

Step 4: Select the option “I forgot my password” from the menu. You’ll then be prompted to enter your PAN number for verification, along with either your registered email ID or phone number. Ensure that the phone number provided matches the one linked to your Zerodha account.

Step 5: Enter Captcha Code: Complete the captcha verification by entering the code provided. This step ensures that you’re not a robot.

Step 6: Submit and Await OTP: After submitting the required details, click on the “Reset” button. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 7: Verify OTP and Continue: Enter the OTP received on your mobile device into the designated field and click on “Continue.”

Step 8: Reset Password: Once the OTP is successfully verified, you’ll have the option to reset your password. If you already remember your password, you can stop at this point. However, if you wish to set a new password, simply enter it into the provided field.

It’s worth noting that during the OTP verification process, you’ll also receive an SMS containing your user ID. This serves as an additional reminder in case you’ve forgotten it. Once you’ve successfully completed these steps, you’ll regain access to your Zerodha account with your recovered credentials.
