What Are the Charges for Opening an Account at Zerodha?
Zerodha is a trading platform and is popular for providing both affordable and reliable brokerage charges. The account opening process is simple, quick, and safe. If your Aadhaar number isn’t linked to your phone number, you can still open an account offline by signing paper forms.
Zerodha Account Opening Charges
Zerodha charges Rs 200 for opening an online account in the equity segment and Rs 300 for the equity and commodity segments. The offline account opening charges for trades on Equity, F&O, and Currency are Rs 400. You can open accounts through Zerodha’s trading platforms and website, but NRI, Partnership, Limited Liability Partnership, HUF, or Corporate accounts must go through an offline process.

Note: Zerodha Demat AMC charges apply to all customers, regardless of usage. An 18% GST is charged in addition to Rs 75 AMC Fees. Close the account if not in use to avoid AMC charges.
