Step 1: Log In to Dhan’s Website

To initiate the process of changing your primary bank account, start by logging in to Dhan’s website. You will need to use your login credentials to access your account.

Step 2: Go to the Money Section

Go to the “Money Section.” This section is where you can manage your financial transactions and linked bank accounts.

Step 3: Access “Manage Bank”

Within the Money Section, look for the option “Manage Bank.” Click on “Manage Bank” to proceed.

Step 4: Choose The New Primary Bank

Now, you will see a list of the bank accounts you have linked to your Dhan Trading Account. Select the bank account that you wish to set as your new primary bank account. Once you have chosen the bank, you will be presented with the option to “Set Primary Account.”

Step 5: Confirm The Change

Click on “Next” to continue with the process. At this stage, you may be required to tick a checkbox indicating your agreement to pay the account modification charge. Ensure that you have sufficient funds in your trading account to cover this charge, as it will be directly debited from your trading ledger.

Step 6: Complete The E-Sign Process

In the final step, you will need to complete the e-sign process to confirm the change of your primary bank account.

Note: It will take 48 working hours to work on the request once received.
